Tuesday, July 21, 4:45pm - Redding City Council
In closed session, the council will consider a real estate negotiation for an Eastside Road property that the county hopes to use for incarceration facilities and another for a lot at Stillwater Business Park. The other party for the Stillwater Park deal is listed as 42 Real Estate, LLC.
In regular session, the council will:
- consider approving the interim appointment of Robert Schreeder as Redding's police chief. The staff report identifies him only as a CalPers retiree.
- consider approving $17,000 a month in short-term funding for maintenance of the Redding Civic Auditorium.
- hold a public hearing to consider approving the issuance of no more than $13 M in revenue bonds by the California Enterprise Development Authority for the Redding School of the Arts High School campus.
- consider issuing a response to the Shasta County Grand Jury regarding its report on Advance Redding and the Civic Auditorium.
Tuesday, July 21, 5:30pm - Anderson City Council
Among other business, the council will consider an update to the city's education and tuition reimbursement policy, see pg. 81.
Tuesday, July 21, 6pm - City of Shasta Lake Council
Among other business, the council will consider approving the mayor's recommendations for small grants of financial support for outside agencies, including schools and nonprofits, see pg. 43.
